To ensure every Aspire candidate is ideally suited and job ready all candidates will complete the following before being presented to the client:

 

Employee Readiness Programme:

6 week employee readiness programme in which, and in addition to classroom based skills development, candidates spend most of their time in real work based environments where they are provided with a unique opportunity to demonstrate and develop their work skills, motivation and inter-personal skills, in one or more of the Aspire Enterprises: Gardening, Re-Cycling, Maintenance, Delivery services, Retail Market Stall.

 

 

Background & Job Fit checks:

Area Intelligence Background (AIB) check in respect of any previous criminal convictions.

Personality assessment to help establish strengths and motivations to ensure their fit for the role and the team.

Certification of work experience-voluntary placements (where relevant).

 

Ongoing coaching & support:

Additionally all successful candidates will receive ongoing support and coaching to assist them through the early stages of their employment, and to ensure successful induction and performance expectations.
