Supporting Our Trainees

Aspire dedicates a wide range of support to ensure its trainees reach their potential

Aspire's Support Workers

The Aspire Difference

Aspire equips its trainees with the skills, experience and confidence to apply for, and secure, full-time paid work.

Dedicated Support Workers

Behind the scenes at Aspire HQ, there’s a professional team of support workers who work to help our trainees get to where they want to be. They offer a trusted and experienced source of advice and guidance.

Specialist Advice and Support

Our support workers provide trainees with practical advice and support, from advice on housing options and legal issues, to signposting to other specalist organisations, to finding and booking training courses, to CV writing.

Practical Assistance

Aspire operates a welfare fund to offer practical assistance to its trainees, including providing a uniform, paying for bus passes and lunches for work days, and subsidising training courses and qualifications.

Work Experience  and Employment Opportunities

Aspire creates real work experience opportunities in its social businesses for its trainees, including:

  • Grounds and landscapes maintenance
  • Property services, such as painting and decorating and cleaning
  • Furniture restoration and textile recycling

Aspire acts as a bridge to local employers and full-time work opportunities for trainees, with a diverse and growing range of partnerships reaching organisations across Oxfordshire. Employ an Aspire Trainee.
